We're a pretty close knit group of pooches - we form strong friendships, and we get to know each other very well. When we new pooches join us, we love to introduce them around and get them started in their Scampering adventures - that's why they call us the "welcome waggin".
Today, we are honored to welcome Rocket and Jetson to our "Littles" group. This pair charmed all they met - and they seemed quite comfortable and happy to hang out with all the Littles crew, and enjoyed lap-time with Wrangler Stuart.
We got to welcome back Frenchie Posey, and Poodle Mix twins Luna and Lily H this week - all have been away for a long while, but they all clearly remembered that the purpose of Scampers is all about fun and frolic and came prancing in looking for their old friends.
On Tuesday, we bade fare-the-well to Tim. Tim was one of our high-school student cleaning staff who often assisted with wrangling and running pooches to their families at pickup time. We wish him luck in his new job in the construction industry.
We also got together to sing our special rendition of "Thanks for the Memories" to Hannah, our summer season afternoon runner, as she returns to college. We sure enjoyed those extra ear scritches she gave us as she dressed us to go home.
And we also wish "happy tails" to Scampers long-timer Jax Weenie, who drove away in the direction of Pennsylvania with his human, who's also heading back to college. We'll miss you, Jax Weenie, especially your expressive ears and full-throated commentary.
Hey, Peeps, don't forget, if you're curious about how we spend our days and you're not quite sure what those report cards really mean, you can watch the adventures in the photos and videos our wranglers are posting on the Scampers Facebook page
