Here’s another change! Well, we have been growing, and so has our mailing list! We hope you like our new newsletter format, via Constant Contact. There’s lots more exciting news this week – we have a new Pooch of the Month, and our two new service offerings have taken off!
Pooch of the Month – May 2012
Announcing “Xena in Repose” our winner for Pooch of the Month! It took luck and persistence to capture her true beauty during a brief quiet moment. Congratulations to Xena and her human companions for her big win! A proud occasion, to be sure.
Boarding: Suites under construction!
We’ve begun hosting your pooches for sleepovers! If you have a need, we can accommodate your pooches in a comfortable and familiar space. This is a shot of what will become the pooch suites. One suite, to the far right, is built, while the modular components of the next five are ready for assembly. They’ll be sanded and painted, and furnished with nice comfortable PetCots, and still have plenty of room for any of your pooches’ personal belongings!
BTW: We’re ever so grateful to Stina’s hubby, Lindsay Hughes, and his friends Mark Smolenski and Allison Stamm, who have worked incredibly hard and endured splinters and blisters to help us with our build-out.
Don’t Forget to Reserve Ahead!
There have been several occasions recently where we’ve had to place a sign on our door to say we had maxed out our current capacity for our staffing levels and current space configuration, and our drop-in space is now very limited. We are making changes as we move toward using the full indoor space we have available. Our eventual capacity will take up to another 20 dogs depending upon the size and shape of the groups. So, do keep telling your friends about us — we love to meet them all! Most important, though, please ensure you reserve ahead via email or phone to be sure of your pooch’s spot! A “Reply” to this email works very well, as does a quick phone call.
Weekend Daycare Now Available for Active Peoples’ Pooches!
Just a reminder that we’ve launched our weekend daycare services. If you have plans for the weekend that can’t include your pooch, give us a call – we can help!
Weekend daycare particulars: Please note that Scampers is offering weekend daycare services on a reservations-only, prepaid basis; weekend daycare pricing is $29.00, based on a full day (no half-days), with drop-off between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and pickup before 5:00 p.m. We need your reservation by Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ; and finally, Prime Card discounts and monthly camper passes are not applicable to weekend daycare.
