Yay – We’ve been able to spend most of the our time outside every day this week! School’s out! This must finally be the beginning of summer.
July Pooch of the Month Ballots Now Open
We’ve posted a some of our best shots of your pooches on Facebook for your selection of July’s Pooch of the Month. “Like” the shots you like best. The winner is the photo with the most “Likes” as of July 1.
Pooch Health Alert
The cool, wet weather is ideal for the intestinal parasite, Giardia, which flourishes in lawns, parks and standing water. While we maintain a very strict regimen to ensure cleanliness both indoors and outdoors, there is always a risk of contamination and we have had one case reported to us this week. Always keep an eye on your dogs for diarrhea and appetite issues, and don’t hesitate to consult with your veterinarian. Our dog handlers are also watching closely and will let you know if we ever see cause for concern.

Pooch Needs a Spruce-Up? Chris Sugarbaker of Cut-’N-Run – Next Visit is this Tuesday, July 5th
Chris will be at Scampers for a grooming visit again on Tuesday, July 5th. If your dog needs some sprucing up, be sure to claim your dog’s spot with him as early as you can – his schedule fills up quickly.
