Wishing Sarah good luck and happiness as she steps into motherhood.

Speaking of Labor, we include this special note to wish our Dog Wrangler Sarah a very big thank you for the excellent care she has provided your pooches.

Heard ‘Round the Water Bowl
We’re excited to be adding new personalities each week. Our frequent campers are doing their best to make them feel welcome. Here’s the scoop from gossip heard ’round the water bowl:

Welcome greetings to Trillian, Canuto, Mugsy, Mika, Echo, Scout and Tucker the Lab.

“It’s a good think we have a long weekend – we’ve been having so much fun showing the newbies all the fun they can have, and we’re exhausted.”

“Oh, Ripples, we know you’re having nothing but fun, and you can always find the energy you need to have more fun.”

“Well, that’s true enough. And it’s easy to find energy to play when the newbies are as delightful as these cuties are. I am looking forward to having some fun with that handsome fellow, Tucker. He’s a high-speed kind of guy! Did you notice that he looks a lot like you, Ginger? Maybe he’s a cousin.”

“Speaking of cousins, Canuto has such a charming ‘doodle’ way about him, and did you see the way he played with Winston Dood? They’d make great bookends, if they could just stand still!”

Scampers Boarding
Our boarding services are proving to be very popular, and we’re already booking for the upcoming holiday seasons. If you foresee needing space for your pooch at Scampers, please get your reservations placed early.

Note that there will be a premium charge for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Coming Soon

We have received a notice that the City of Kirkland will soon be repaving 124th Street from 124th Avenue to Slater Avenue. Joy!

Typical hours of work will be between 7 am and 6 pm, as well as some “night work”.

We hope this will not be too disruptive to your commute, but we’re sure they’ll help you find your way to us.

Wishing you all a great weekend. Remember, relaxation and barbecues…

Very best regards,
