We’ve lost our lease at Bellevue.

Our Bellevue facility was recently sold, and while our current lease remains in force for a little while longer, we have not been able to negotiate a suitable renewal with the new owner. Sadly, as a result, we must announce that September 30th will be our last day of operations in Bellevue.

We’ve decided to return to our roots operating solely out of our Kirkland location. We initially opened our business at our Kirkland site because it has terrific outdoor spaces with shade and trees beside our north yard, lots of sun and water play in our western yard, and our indoor space has plenty of room for multiple daycare playzones plus lots of suites for your pooches’ overnight stays, and the building is fully climate-controlled, including air-conditioning.

Kirkland-based clients, your dogs will begin to see more and more new friends, all with those wagging tails, curious muzzles, and droopy ears, and more of those kindly human faces in our playzones and reception area. As we approach September 30th, please make it a point to set up your reservations at Kirkland, so we can all adapt to the increased attendance. Our top-notch client relations crew can assist in that regard.

For those who have been frequenting our Bellevue location to this point, consider these quick routes to Scampers Kirkland on 124th Street:
• from downtown Bellevue, use I-405 to 124th Street exit
• from Lake WA shore, through Juanita and up toward Totem Lake
• from Bridle Trails, come straight across 132nd
• from Redmond, take 124th Street or Willows
• from Lake Hills and Overlake, use 148th across to Willows
• from West Lake Sam, use Willows
Whichever route works best for you, we are less than half a mile from I-405 or Willows. A few extra minutes of travel time will see your dogs’ continued enrichment through romping with their BFFs and meeting new ones. And your dogs will see their familiar Scampers staff members in Kirkland, too. We have met so many delightful pet parents during our ten years in Bellevue and hope to remain a valued resource for your continue canine care.
